Quick Halloween Cards with Limited Supplies

Hello crafty friends! Today I am sharing how I made some quick Halloween cards with minimal supplies. I am using the new Open House Boo die set from Spellbinders combined with some cardstock and ink. This die set is great because it contains a whole bunch of images and a sentiment meaning that you can make a whole stack of different cards just by adding some cardstock. Check out the video below to see all the dies cut out.

The die set used in this post was provided to me by Spellbinders in exchange for my sample and affiliate links are used below to support my work at no cost to you.

For the layers on the card, I started with a 3 inch by 4 inch black panel where I glued my focal images and sentiment. For the next layer I went 1/4 inch bigger which would be 3.25 by 4.25 and the next panel another 1/4 inch bigger which would be 3.5 by 4.5.

Tip: Delicate dies like the sentiment might not cut the first time through your die cutting machine. Try passing them through again or adding a shim according to your machine’s directions.
