Let’s take a look at the fantastic world of Arts and Crafts Thrift Stores. When your budget is tight, finding used craft supplies can be a great way to save money. You may also be trying to source second hand for more sustainable crafting as we can go through a lot of materials. You can, of course, check the craft section of your local thrift store or find bargains on Facebook Marketplace. A less common, but often more helpful option is a dedicated Arts and Crafts Thrift Store or Creative Reuse Center.
I’ve complied a list, sorted by state, of all the Arts and Crafts Thrift Stores and Creative Reuse Centers I could find in the USA. I even found some online shops and I’ve added a few for Canada too. I have not visited all of these stores personally, so these are not recommendations. I’m just sharing the information. Consider confirming hours and addresses before visiting. If you know of another shop please feel free to email me at hello@jesscrafts.com with the name, location, and website so I can add it to the list.
