Today I want to share with you some projects I made with the January 2023 Card Kit of the Month from Spellbinders. I have previously shared how I made 40 cards with this kit so this kit if jam packed and can make many many cards, but today I’ll be focusing on how to make cards with kit ‘leftovers.’

The card kit used in this post was provided by Spellbinders Paper Arts in exchange for design work. Thank you!

This is part of a Spellbinders blog hop to celebrate the January 2023 Card Kit. Be sure to check out all the links for other hop participants at the bottom of this post and be sure to go to the Spellbinders blog for a giveaway! In the video below, I’ll walk you through what I had left with the kit and how I was inspired to use all those little bits.
The chipboard frames included in the kit help to make for quick cards because it instantly frames focal points and directs your attention.

Keeping your embellishments contained in the frame can make for a clean and simple card, but allowing the embellishments to break the frame and overlap adds a lot of interest and can help you use up many more items on a single card. I won’t keep you long since there are so many beautiful projects to see!
