Hello crafty friend! Today I will share a 12×12 Paper Busting template to help you make a set of quick and easy cards from patterned paper with no scraps. This is similar to the idea of a One Sheet Wonder. (To the best of my knowledge, the One Sheet Wonder is a concept Stampin’ Up demonstrators have been using for years, so credit to them for the name and inspiration).

Paper Busting Template #13 makes 6 of the exact same card. You will use cardstock to mat the patterned paper pieces which will create some cardstock scraps. Make ‘fake foam tape,’ cut sentiment dies, or create mats for your next card with these scraps. The template directs you how to cut your paper and the card sketch will show you how to assemble the cards. Of course, feel free to mix it up to your own liking. Today I used stamps to embellish my cards but you can use whatever you need to use up in your stash.

  1. Do you have to transfer all the markings to your 12 x 12 cardstock by hand in order to cut them with your Scan n Cut? I guess the same question goes with the 8.5 x 11 cardstock.

    Thank you

    1. I do not transfer any markings. I just make the cuts at the designated spots. I need to be more careful when cutting the patterned paper because you need every but but there is usually a cut that goes from one end to the other of the paper and that is where I start. With the card stock mats I tend to pick one measurement and cut the whole sheet at that measurement then make them smaller. There are several videos on my channel where I show the process of cutting the paper and card stock to make it more clear.
