Hello crafty friend! Today’s card kit tutorial uses the Spellbinders February 2023 Card Kit. I made 16 cards leaving no patterned paper scraps. With this process, I can easily whip up a bunch of cards for card drives like Cardz for Kidz. If you want more info on donating cards or get jokes for your cards please check out my Card Drive Resources page.

The card kit used in this post was provided by Spellbinders Paper Arts in exchange for design work. Thank you!

Check out the video below to hear me talk you through the process and in the blog post I will share each card design and the sketch or measurements.
My personal challenge to the Spellbinders February 2023 Card Kit was to create as many cards as possible without adding additional materials. I used the cardstock from the kit for my mats, the included adhesive and the card bases that came with the kit. There were only 8 bases and I did run out of adhesive before I made all 16 cards, but I felt pretty successful given the limitations. You can also recreate this with any Spellbinders kit that has the same basic contents.
The Designs

6×6 for A2 Cards Paperbusting Template #1 made 8 cards from four pieces of single sided patterned paper.

6×6 for A2 Cards Paperbusting Template #12 made 7 cards from 3.5 pieces of single sided patterned paper.

This card used the last half sheet of patterned paper and some of the cardstock scraps. All patterned paper strips are 3×1 inches. The other two strips went inside cards.
Ultimately to get this results from any of the 2023 monthly kits here’s the numbers breakdown. 7 cards with Template 12, no circle die cut, 3.5 pieces of patterned paper, 7 cardstock panels cut to 3.25 by 5.25 inches 8 Cards with Template 1, 4 pieces of patterned paper, 8 cardstock panels cut to 3 pieces of 1.25 by 5.25 inches 5 cardstock panels cut to 4 pieces of 3.25 by 1.25 inches. There are more cardstock scraps from this kit, but I will feature them in another video.
That completes my card shares for this Spellbinders February 2023 Card Kit tutorial. I hope you find some designs that will work for you in busting your own card kit.
